🖋 What You’ll Learn

Guided by experienced tutors, you’ll be introduced to traditional dip pen calligraphy, including:

• How to hold and use a dip pen
• Understanding pressure and flowing strokes
• Creating those beautiful thick and thin contrasts
• Practising upper and lower case lettering
• Forming words and phrases
• Adding simple decorative flourishes

In the second half of the workshop, you’ll begin to create your own pieces, including:

• Greeting cards
• A piece of calligraphy wall art
• Beautifully styled lettering on stationery
