Sewing Social at Calme Monday 17th August 6pm-8pm

If you love sewing and enjoy spending time with like-minded people, our Sewing Social is the perfect way to enjoy a relaxed couple of hours of creativity, conversation and cake.

Bring along your own sewing machine, your current project and settle in for an evening of sewing at your own pace. Whether you’re making clothes, quilting, crafting or mending, you’ll be surrounded by fellow sewing enthusiasts who are always happy to share ideas, encouragement and the occasional tip.

Please note: This is not a tutor-led workshop. There is no formal teaching or instruction, so you’ll need to:

• Bring your own sewing machine.
• Be confident using your machine independently.
• Bring your own project to work on.

If you’re completely new to sewing or would like to build your confidence first, we’d recommend booking one of our Get to Know Your Sewing Machine workshops before joining a Sewing Social.

We’ll provide the warm welcome, coffee, cake and friendly atmosphere – you just bring your sewing machine and enjoy an evening of stitching with good company.
