Come and spend a cosy couple of hours at Calme creating a beautiful Christmas Rag Wreath in one of our relaxed, welcoming workshops.

This is much more than simply making a wreath.

Think layers of beautiful fabrics, ribbons, hessian, soft neutrals, traditional Christmas colours, checks, tartans, a little sparkle and lots of different textures to choose from.

Your wreath can be traditional, rustic, neutral, pretty, sparkly or completely individual to you.

And absolutely no experience is needed.

This is one of those lovely workshops where you can simply arrive, settle in and enjoy being creative without worrying about getting anything “right”.

A little Christmas switch-off ❤️

There is something very calming about working with your hands.

The simple rhythm of making gives you a chance to slow down, step away from your phone and focus on something lovely for a couple of hours.

But at Calme, the crafting is only part of the experience.

It is also about being together.

Meeting new people. Sitting around a table. Chatting. Laughing. Having one of those proper belly-laugh moments. And enjoying a little time where there is nowhere else you need to be.

You are very welcome to come on your own. Lots of people do.

Our workshops are friendly, informal and made to feel easy from the moment you walk through the door.

Coffee, tea & beautiful cake included

Our cakes are always a big part of our workshops and something people regularly comment on, so your ticket includes tea or coffee and some lovely pieces of cake to enjoy while you make or take home! 

If you are coming straight from work and would like something more substantial, just message or phone ahead and we can send a menu for you to arrive early and have a bite before you begin!

This could be something from an old item of clothing, a favourite Christmas fabric, or simply something that means something to you.

This is a one-off Christmas workshop designed to feel warm, relaxed, creative and very easy to come along to.

Come on your own or bring someone with you.

Come for the wreath, stay for the cake, the conversation and the laughter.

And leave with something beautiful you made yourself — and hopefully feeling just a little lighter than when you arrived. ❤️
