The Knitting Exchange at Calme Nest

We’ve listened… now let’s get our knitting Needles together!

Our first get-together is on a Monday, giving you the weekend to rummage through your knitting bags, sort through your stash and gather your bits and bobs ready for some serious swapsies!

Bring your current project, pull up a chair and join us for a lovely knit and natter. A chance to meet other knitters, pick up tips, discover projects and share a little inspiration.

What can you bring?

● Yarn to sell or swap — those lovely balls of wool you haven’t found a use for might be just what someone else needs.

● Patterns for swapsies — pass along an old favourite and find something new to try.

● Needles and knitting bits to swap — have a rummage and see what’s ready for a new home!

We’ll also have kindly donated knitting needles and yarns for sale on the evening.

Anything you fancy swapping is welcome… just not your husbands or kids! It’s got to be knitting-related! 😂

Tea and instant coffee are included, with speciality coffees, cakes and snacks available to purchase.

This first gathering is also a chance to hear your advice and ideas. We’d love to find out what you enjoy, what you’d like to try and how you’d like future knitting get-togethers at Calme to look. Let’s shape it together.

Come with a friend or on your own — and if you haven’t anything to swap, come for the company. We’d love to see you x
